Ooh La La! La Bonde d’Antan

    This ivory, Sharpei wrinkled, goat’s milk nugget hails from the Poitou-Charentes region of France.

La Bonde d’Antan is heavy and dense to the touch. It would make an effective paper weight…I would however prefer to enjoy it with a crisp, juicy, green, apple and a Pouilly Fusse or a Sancerre.

La Bonde d’Antan is aged, with a flaky outside and a white, creamy, mouth laminating  interior. There was a mild, clean, yet tangy smell.  This rustic delectation had lemon citrus and a veil of lip smacking richness that lingered long after devouring it. Ooh la la!
