So you’ve picked up some Petit Vaccarinus from your local Vineyard Market, but you’re not quite sure what to do with it, or how to serve it. Here’s a savory recipe that will be sure to please not only your guests, but your taste buds!
-1 round of Petite Vaccarinus
-3 cloves of garlic, sliced
-1 sprig of fresh rosemary, chopped, OR 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
-a splash of your favorite white wine (no more than 2 tsp!)
1) Keep your Petit Vaccarinus in its wooden box. Make several short slices into the top of the cheese. Place your sliced garlic and rosemary into these slices, pushing as far into the cheese as you can get.
2) Drizzle your favorite white wine directly on top.
3) Wrap the bottom and sides of your cheese (still in box!) with foil, leaving the top open.
4) Place in 350* oven for 10-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serve with baguettes, toasted garlic bread, or spoon over boiled or baked potatoes.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I am absolutely ravenous after this recipe! I think I’ll go make myself some Baked Petit Vaccarinus!
