Eat your heart out–literally!
Valentine’s Day is coming up and what better way to say “I love you” than with cheese? We just received a beautiful heart-shaped Brillat Savarin cheese topped with dried papaya–Amour de Brillat. Brillat Savarin is a triple-crème cow’s milk cheese produced in the Burgundy and Normandy regions of France. It has a rich, creamy, flavor with slight lemon tones and milky aromas. The papaya adds an extra level of sweetness to the cheese that is extremely satisfying to the palate. It reminds me almost of a fruity cheesecake. Pair this cheese with your favorite Champagne or Sancerre wine and you have the perfect dessert come February 14th. Go ahead, eat your heart out!
