Two weeks ago we introduced you to Zingerman’s Detroit Street Brick. It was such a hit that we decided to try out another of Zingerman’s cheeses. Now it’s a toss-up as to which is our favorite!!
Like Detroit Street Brick, Bridgewater is created by Zingerman’s Creamery in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is made of pasteurized cow’s milk and cream. The mold-ripened 6-ounce domes are littered with Tellicherry black peppercorns, giving it an earthy, peppery finish after initial flavors of citrus.
When we first got the sample at Ramsey we all devoured it! It’s so delicious that I went back for another piece to share with my family. We paired it with Livernano Chianti Classico 2008 and enjoyed a peaceful movie-night in!
