Taste of Italy Cheese Board

Never been to Italy?  Don’t worry, this cheese board provides the perfect combination to instantly transport you to a land rich in culture, art, and most importantly–food!

La Tur – A unique blend of cow, goat, and sheep’s milk, La Tur is a dense and creamy cheese that coats your mouth in deliciousness!  It’s got a full, earthy flavor with a lingering tang that is sure to make you come back for seconds and thirds!

Tramonto Rosso – For one to four weeks of its 120 day aging period this cheese is soaked in crushed red wine grapes, giving it a delicious fruity flavor with a lingering finish of red wine.

Lago di Garda – Aged for six months, this straw-colored cheese has a slightly sharp and pleasant taste.  Another cheese that is perfect for grating or simply a table cheese.

Piccolo Pastore  – Pastore is the sole cheese of the bunch made from raw (unpasteurized) cow’s milk.  Aged for 240 days, it has a zesty, aromatic flavor that makes it a great cheese to nibble on or cook with.

Caciocavallo – Made of cow’s milk and aged for about 4 to 6 months, it has a texture and flavor similar to Provolone.  With a slight tanginess and slight nutty flavor, Caciocavallo is perfect for grating over your favorite Italian dish, or simply slicing and serving with salami.
