This just in from La Panzanella Artisanal Foods Co., makers of the La Panzanella Croccantini Crackers, is a new line of tasty little desserts. The Dolcetini line consists of six new varieties of tiny cookies that are reminiscent of traditional Italian wedding cookies but with unique flavors that offers a twist on that classic treat. True to the La Panzanella’s mission of bringing high quality gourmet products to food lovers everywhere, these cookies are made with all natural ingredients, are low in sodium, and are the perfect size to satisfy your sweet tooth without leaving you feeling guilty for indulging.
Currently at Bottle King we are featuring three varieties of the Dolcetini line: Chocolate Chip, Meyer’s Lemon, and Snickerdoodle. The Chocolate Chip cookies are made with dark chocolate chips containing 40% cacao and they are certainly not skimpy with the chocolate chip to cookie ratio. The Meyer’s Lemon are made with real Meyer lemon fruit (a citrus fruit native to China that is thought to be a cross between a lemon and mandarin) has a mild and sweet lemon flavor on the start and will have you puckering on the finish. The Snickerdoodle cookies are coated with cinnamon and although they are different than the snickerdoodle cookies that my family makes for the holidays each year, one bite brought back memories of sitting in front of the fireplace on a cold winter’s night.
Try a flavor, or all three, with a cup of tea or coffee but be warned, they are highly addicting!
